Oney Seal, is the Founder & CEO of Databazaar.com, and the Databazaar group of companies that include Databazaar India Pvt. Ltd. (the offshore delivery center of IusJuris), and Databazaar Hong Kong. Oney brings 15 years of experience in both academia and business to the management team at Databazaar. His primary responsibilities include strategic direction for the entire group, leading the senior management team and being the defender and expander of the Databazaar business model.

The USD 57 million plus Databazaar group of companies is involved in the wholesale distribution, export and e-tail of computer and printer supplies as well as in business process outsourcing (BPO). Oney started his career teaching corporate finance and advanced statistics at Nova Southeastern University, Florida, and later left the Doctoral program at the University of Texas at Dallas to run the Latin American operations of Distributors Express Computer Supply, Inc. from 1993 to 2000.

An acknowledged expert in e-commerce as well as offshoring, Oney’s area of special focus is the leveraging of business process outsourcing in various e-businesses. Widely covered in the Indian media for Databazaar’s pioneering role in many aspects of IT entrepreneurship especially in the state of West Bengal, Oney is a key figure in many government-industry bodies and partnerships that promote Indo-American business development in the IT and IT-enabled service sectors.

Based in Miami, Florida, Oney holds a bachelor’s degree in business from St. Xavier's College, University of Calcutta, India, and a MBA in International Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University, USA.
